So sorry for the loss of your Mom. Phyllis was always smiling. I have many fond memories of being at your house on Duke St. playing with Donna & Janet my first friends. Dropping by with my own girls for a visit Phyllis was always welcoming. Always glad to see you. She will be missed!

I have been a friend of the family for 50+ years, being best friends with Jim since grade one. If I wasn't at home I was at the Elson's. Phyllis always greeted me with "Hi Pork" and a smile. There were many times over the years, I would be ordered to sit at the supper table to eat. Having an already large family an extra body at the table could be a little cramped, but that didn't matter to Phyllis, as there was always room for one more at her table. Some of my fondest memories would be on Christmas eve as kids seeing the corner in the front room with a huge tree decorated with the lights, the tasty candy canes and all the gifts, and of course, Phyllis's apple pie. The best!!! Over the years things changed as they always do, but never the joy of my Christmas eve visit to the Elson's. R.I.P. Phyllis, you will be missed.
