"Motherhood is a million little moments that God weaves together with grace, redemption, laughter, tears, and most of all love."

Beautiful ~ Loving ~ Giving.
Nancy Beth McDonald - a woman of many talents, including her gift as an artist, but most of all, she was a gift, as a wife and mom. Nancy passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Sarnia St. Joseph's Hospice at the age of 51 after living every moment to the fullest. A free spirit full of love. Together, Nancy and her endearing husband, Scott, of 18 years raised their incredible family, Adam, age 11 and Maeve, age 8, with stepchildren, Christopher and Jenna, giving them a life of incredible family experiences and togetherness. Nancy "ran the show" in their home, a true artist, life was a live for the moment event, and Nancy was one to take it on.

Adam and Maeve will always cherish their arts and crafts and baking sessions with their mom, but most of all the memories of special times at the beach. Scott was loved deeply and without reservation and continues to cherish the memories, the spontaneity, and the free spirit of his beautiful wife.

Nancy had a great group of "chick friends" who were always challenging, supporting and watching over each other. These beautiful women Nancy loved: Lindsey, Nikki, Debbie, Sue, Connie, Lisa, Goretti, Suzy, Lisa, Alison, Cheryl, Tracie, Jess, and Linda. Forever friends, forever soul sisters. The daughter of the late Mason and Helen McDonald of Thedford, Nancy is also predeceased by her loved brother Rick.

Family and friends continue to celebrate Nancy's life and will join together at a later date to celebrate the many memories and beautiful moments shared with Nancy.

Nancy and her family were shown incredible care and compassion during her time at the St. Joseph's Hospice in Sarnia. Donations are appreciated to the Hospice in honour of the care given to all who enter their doors. Arrangements are entrusted to Gilpin Funeral Chapel, 123 King Street, East, Forest, Ontario 519-786-4964. Please leave a memory or condolence online at www.GilpinFuneralChapel.com

Nancy would walk into a room and the room would light up, she was soft spoken, considerate and always had a huge smile on her face. She was true to her father and her mother, her husband and to her children. Heaven has a new angel. Our condolences to Scott and the children.

Janet and I were so sorry to hear the news today. Nancy was so cool and such a great pal in high school. She was always so full of life and lifted up everyone around her. We had so many good times working at the Pinery, hanging out in grade 13, and just going through school together. Nancy & Janet were good friends in public school too. We lost track as we got older but in reading her tribute I can see she was the same person throughout her life as I knew here way back in high school/early college days. Our thoughts are with you today as we mourn the loss of this bright soul. -- Kevin & Janet Murray
