In thankfulness for the love she gave and demonstrated to us it is with deep sorrow that our family says goodbye to our loving mother Marina Brudlo of Grand Bend on Sunday, July 28, 2019. The beloved wife of the late Manfred Brudlo (2010) and mother of Thomas (2009) & Robin Brudlo of Richmond Hill, Christian & Lori Brudlo of Oakville, and Nancy & Troy Vandervoort of Brampton. Cherished Oma of Haley, Emma, Sasha, Connor, Duncan, Max, Heather, Oliver, Jillian, and Madeline. Great Oma of Jude and Noah. Sister of Gisela Ruedinger of Berlin.
Born to parents Margot and Otto in Berlin, Germany in 1939, during the very turbulent times of WWII, living a full life before Marina was granted a peaceful passing in the comfort of her home over 80 years later. Great pride and wonderful memories of camping and travel are shared by the family as they remember both parents putting the family first, making sacrifices, working tirelessly together to provide not only food and shelter but also spending time together, baking, swimming, bike rides and picnics building wonderful family memories, amazing examples as parents.
We say goodbye for Marina to her many friends. The family is comforted by the fact that Marina is welcomed to a place that knows no pain, tears or sadness by those who have gone before her. We will miss you very much and keep you forever close in our hearts and thoughts as we say Aufweidersehen to you. Family and friends continue to celebrate Marina's life. A life of loving, independence, adventure, resilience, and courage.
Family and friends are welcomed to drop in at 8799 Timberwood Trail in Lambton Shores on Friday, August 2, 2019 between 10am and 7pm as we continue to celebrate Marina's life. Those attending are asked to bring gardening tools such as pruning shears, and gardening gloves along with memories to share as we remember Marina's life. A life of loving, independence, adventure, resilience, and courage.
